Chris Buchheit Promoted to Scotts Company Controlled Release Fertilizers Marketing Manager

MARYSVILLE, OHIO (April 11, 2007) – The Scotts Company Professional Business Group announces the promotion of Chris Buchheit to marketing manager for its controlled release fertilizer lines.

Based in Marysville, Ohio, Buchheit is responsible for all controlled release fertilizer product lines, including Osmocote®, Osmocote Pro®, Agrocote®, Agriform® and the new Landscaper® PRO™ line. Chris started with The Scotts Company in 2005 as a territory sales manager responsible for eight Midwest states.

Buchheit has a wealth of experience in the horticulture industry including past positions at JoAnn’s Greenhouses, Inc., Berger Horticultural Products and Conrad Fafard, Inc. He has a bachelor’s degree in agriculture from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau.
